Honestly the original "zoras just evolved into Rito" lore was so fucking stupid I wouldn't be mad if it were just outright ignored going forward. Though I do prefer the WW designs to the generic furries in BotW. I mean yes they were functionally just elves with beaks but I liked everything they had going on.
