r u fucking kidding me. this is 100% just a list of movies that:

  1. you've seen
  2. you like
edit: black christmas???? the blob???? CARRIE???? MAGIC??? BLACK FUCKING MAGIC???!?!?!?! rear-are-you-fucking-crazy-window.

I can give you some of them:

Rosemary's Baby
Alien
Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Others are good, but nowhere near the thing (High Tension).

Then you leave out Halloween and Friday the 13th. Both of which have several installments almost as good as The Thing.

THEN the lack of other Carpenter movies is distressing.
