Ideal would be the dad being in the kids life while being respectful of his baby mommas life decisions. I can't do the whole "I still spend time with my baby's dad but we're just friends" thing either. That's just flirting with creating a moment where you relight a spark. I think it's disrespectful to your new partner to keep close connections with exes. Call it what you will, I just don't wanna do the whole will she won't she go back thing. Im hanging out with a 7 year old atm. So, it's nothing new.
