I quit almost cold turkey when I landed a new position with an awesome job and my second day on the job I had a panic attack so bad that I was taken out on an ambulance because it started getting to the point where I literally could not move my lips, it felt like there were headphones on my head, and my hands were totally locked up and couldn't move.
