Alright, I think I've explored everything in the universe except for achieving an ending. Which would mean taking the core through...the last section of Dark Bramble.
...DLC it is! Not tonight though, it's late. Some quick comments on the story:
The Nomai NOT being responsible for the sun exploding was a legitimately shocking plot twist.
I really like how the different Nomai generations are characterized. The early ones are arrogant, whimsical, basically treating the universe as their playbox to do science experiments. They believe that the Eye of the Universe is calling them, specifically, because they're special. The later ones are much less confident in themselves; having seen their predecessors fail. They wonder if all of this is worth it, and they recognize that the universe doesn't particularly care about them one way or another.
