Some of these % weren't great to begin with but the biggest offender here is FVV who shot nearly 90% from the line in the regular season Derozan is a former long time Raptor star player. I am sure he used his connections to get his family such good seats for the game. That bridge might be burned. The Canadian Raptor fans are wise enough to know not to make any noise during free throws their team takes. Which means the stadium was essentially dead silent so the screaming was very loud to everyone. Did it actually make any difference? I have not the slightly clue. I could see that it could have and I could see how it couldn't have. Players are generally pretty mentally fragile when it comes to shooting and will grasp at any excuse they can get. So perhaps look for them to say that it did make a difference. Either way expect teams to reconsider giving good seats to opposing teams players now for the rest of these playoffs. This is the narrative driven shit that has little to do with the actual game going on that ESPN just eats up though.
