Here is my honest take:

There are so many transophobes in gamefaqs. And in life in general, but we're talking about gamefaqs here. People waiting for someone to do the "wrong" move to unleash their bigotry.

And gunpla is literally the kind of personality and gamefaqs behavior they have been praying for so they can unleash it. Gunpla's behavior enables them, and they're way too happy to engage
