The issue is trans people are a much smaller minority than LGB people (.3% vs 3.5%) and we live in an age where most people are online and exposed to this stuff with regularity. These moves we're seeing is the GOP realizing it has nothing left to win over moderates/independents, so they're just rolling the dice on whatever culture war animus they can --- Not removing this until Mega Man 64 is released on the Wii Virtual Console.
