I mostly hate Bendis for forever ruining the wonderful dynamic he had going with Damian. I actually don't think Bendis was at fault for that and it was a mandate from higher ups. Bendis I believe was just a fall guy for the decision. Otherwise after he left the next writers could have retconned it easily.
