Not only are almonds one of the worst water consumers, being a significant contributor to California's water problems, but almond milk has almost no protein when compared to regular milk. You also can substitute almond milk for regular milk in any sort of baking because the lack of fat is a problem with binding the ingredients together. Almond milk isn't a substitute for regular milk.
