I think I've actually posted about this case multiple times, basically each time there is an update. But these cops talked to a couple in an apartment, who lied and told them their neighbor attacked the woman. Its believed by many that the boyfriend beat her then they made up the story that the neighbor did it so the boyfriend would not go to jail.

Its the middle of the night and this old man is woken up by knocking on his door. He opens the door with a machete because the idiot cops hide to the side of the door so he can't see they are cops in the peep hole.

He opens the door then sees they are cops so while are they yelling at him, he turns around, walks AWAY from the cops who would later claim he was threatening them.... and puts the machete on top of a shelf

Then he complains to the cops how the neighbors beat on his wall. But the cops are so filled with adrenaline they aren't even listening to what he just said, which should have made them think twice about the claims they just heard from the couple

They tase him and then drag him into the hall, and grab his machete from inside his apartment and put it next to his hand. To make it look like he came out into the hall and attacked them

He suffered permanent injuries that will impact him til his death. He sued and won 7 million dollars i think. 1 of 2 cops was fired. But the cop took a plea deal and never spent a day in prison. The other cop who was just as guilty, for some reason, faced no punishment, and I heard even has been promoted

An old man was permanently disabled, because some guy beat his girlfriend and then framed a neighbor.
