| Topic | Caught my first Shiny Pokemon the other day! |
| Underleveled 05/01/23 5:29:59 PM #8: | My actual first random shiny encounter was a shiny Venonat in the Bug Catching Contest in Gold version on the original GBC cart. Because it was Bug Catching Contest and I could only have one Pokemon and no healing items, my Pokemon was already weak from fighting other Pokemon and Venonat knocked me out before I could catch it.
