The optimal autism representation, if i'm to believe what people on twitter write, is Dr. House (House M.D.) and Dr. Susan Brennan (Bones). Anything that would portray autism as anything other than a supreme gift seems to be a nogo. Well, sure but there's absolutely lots of negative views on autism too. It kinda became the new r-word. You always seem to have it out for high-functioning people because some subset on Twitter thinks it makes them superhuman.
