it's just kinda mediocre.

the "dungeons" are just smaller divine beasts. it's just a small area that you figure out a puzzle for. almost like a more involved shrine. usually getting to the temple is more of a journey than the actual thing.

weapon durability is back in full force, you will have your weapons break fighting just one enemy, which is where the fusing mechanic comes in. it's fine. it slows everything to a crawl and breaks immersion, but it's fine.

speaking of the fusing mechanics, the most you're going to be doing with it in general is either making a plane or hover cart, and that's it. there's no reason to really make anything other than to see if you can, or if you have to for a quest.

the depths are actually kinda scary, i really don't like this place, but at the same time it's probably the coolest area in the game. i will recommend everyone do at least the first Josha quest to find Robbie, and then go back down into the depths and follow the statues to unlock the blueprint ability.

overall the game is both very clearly just dlc, but with a layer of "we turned this into a full title" on top with some of these changes. if you hated all the shrines and/or koroks in the first one, they're all still here to do in this one. just instead of getting a dark ball from a shrine, you get a light one. if you got your hopes up for traditional dungeons, they ain't here.

7/10, i like flying in a hovercar
