Lol what a dumb post. But cool, proved my point.
You also must be confused if you equate me giving you the opinion you asked for when you made this thread to mean anything you do "chafes my ass".
I asked for you to be intolerant and insulting? I asked for people to defend bad customers/patients, who I thought pretty much everyone had agreed were usually wrong?

Typical

You could also just do some self-reflection and try to improve yourself. Yes people are assholes but there's probably truth in there as well.
Unlikely. I am who I am and can't do much about it. It works overall and I thrive when people respect that not everyone operates the same way.

I feel like I need to understand the context of what the TC does for a living.

By paitent I assume you're doctor or nurse? If that's the case you should check your "personality" at the door and do your job. If someone is being rude to you, it's your responsiblity to be complaciant and tell them what you can do to make them feel more comfortable. It's your job. If you can't handle the fire then get out of the oven.
I work in pharmacy. Yeah, no thanks. Not going to quit my job so some minority of patients can deal with someone they find more acceptable. Would you tell me to do that if they were uncomfortable with me for being LGBTQ?
