Topic	My job doesn't accept when a mishap was actually a former coworker's doing

Write a statement of when the issue occurred if you can remember, who was involved, and all dates pertinent to the issue including your recent conversation with the GM. Sign and date, get HR to sign and date and make a copy of it. Keep the original copy at your house or in a safety deposit box. Make sure you have a reliable 3rd party with you to witness the papers being signed. Get them to sign it as well. If you get fired, take that paperwork to a lawyer.
