This kind of depends on the cat, and how squeamish you are. I had a cat growing up that loved to kill mice and leave them outside in spots for people to find. On the other hand, there was a time a neighbor had a cat start living outside near their house. He looked like Fat Bastard in cat form after a couple of months and nobody near us saw a single mouse for months and months, even outside.

Yeah, don't get complacent here. Killing things is awful and they are cute, but you don't want them in your home.
