one of the harder parts of working in a mental hospital is covering your ass from false accusations. one coworker got falsey accused of breaking a patients arm when he wasnt in the same room as them. all of these are taken seriously and he had to get moved out of that unit for a couple of weeks. it happens all the time, you have to make sure youre where the cameras are when youre near patients because theyll accuse you of anything. theres a childrens unit ive never worked on at my campus but nobody wants to work there, they call the patients rights hotline everyday and accuse staff of random shit. i heard the kids are even more difficult to work with too, very violent and belligerent.
