My client on Thursday/Friday moved into a new office area, and I told them at the beginning of the year that we needed to get up evacuation maps.
They dragged their heels on responding to that.
I asked for facility maps so I could make and post my own without their help.

One month ago they had a visit from the local FD who noticed they didn't have evacuation maps.
The general manager finally sent me a map. I made nice and bright evacuation maps which I had printed at large size, laminated, and I posted on the walls.
The HR manager took me aside to tell me that they need to be redone because they don't match the office aesthetic.
To her credit, we sat down and did it together so she could "do it right" and they'll be up to her taste but I almost flipping lost it when she said I should have come to her first.
Yeah, that sounds super frustrating.
