I will never feel comfortable playing online with strangers due to my own personal tastes/issues and they haven't made everything possible with one-player yet. . To be clear though (and I'm just providing extra info, not commenting one way or another on your own personal issue, colliding) like 95% of everything in the main story is soloable now. It's only the Stormblood patch dungeons and every (as in, not limited to Stormblood, but every) Trial AKA big story boss fights that aren't.
