I got a ticket when I honked at a person 3 times because they didn't go on a protected green light. Instead of the police officer going after the guy in front of me, who clearly was on texting on his cellphone, he went after me for honking and I got a ticket for $237.86 for it. You're only allowed to honk to avoid a car accident, anything else is "disturbing the peace".
