Unlike the private sector the government has no accountability or competition to make sure they actually perform like they should The private sector doesn't have accountability or competition to preform correctly; all they need to do is make your want or need their products. This is sometimes the same thing. It isn't always. Ideally the goverment would exist to impartially help it's citizens unlike the private sector that has profits in mind.
