But im very normal lookin but I spent most of my teens/college years walking into parties/bars and immediately a woman I had never met would come up, pull me aside and talk to me while carrying the bulk of the conversation.

I brought this up at my job now and everyone thought I was full of shit. Then after a few outings, they were mystified that it's a real thing. I'm married now, but hate wearing my ring. Women will still just chat me up in a grocery store. It's very odd
