Checking back in old notepad files, I have updates from the top 37 of both XIV and XV. Quistis was in the bottom 6 of one round and Rinoa in the bottom 4 of the other. Nothing remotely helpful but I thought it was a funny coincidence.

Then I checked archive.org and found URLs for round 60, 61 and 67 of XVI, any of which would show the true order. None of the threads themselves are archived, though, nor any other thread I clicked on from board 8 in that time period, so extremely unlikely any of the other SMFFFC threads are archived there, either.
