I lived in Kelowna for a couple of years, and it's supposed to be a 'woo hoo summer!!!' kinda town. Hard to enjoy it when 3/4 of the summer you're being choked by the air. East, I am pretty close to the border, although it technically takes me over an hour to get to a "crossing" since I am on Lake Ontario.
