The chord stabs at 0:43 are a cool buildup (more so than the first buildup before that, I'd say haha) to the rest of the song. Melodically, it's not amazing, but it's solidly good. 1:18 has some interesting chords too. Breaking Free has a cool emo rock sort of energy. I really like the first elongated note of the chorus. Sets it up quite nicely. Pretty close match, but I think I'm vibing more to Breaking Free. I'd be happy with either song advancing though. MATCH 2 [To be continued] ... Copied to Clipboard! |
