I have white coat hypertension, which means my blood pressure reads high at the doctor's office no matter what (my doctors have studied this thoroughly, including having me read levels at home, comparing my cuff to theirs at the office, etc.) so I get it, to an extent.

It just feels so weird, since it means I get nervous around doctors even without realizing it. It's especially weird since I almost became one, though maybe that even plays a part.
