In your case I'd probably have gone with just a hybrid then. I just really don't like the idea of having to charge a car like a mobile device, especially when I have to go out of my way to a charging station (which would be pretty much everywhere, including home). It doesn't feel intuitive and the environmental impact is not enough for the effort.

I will never buy a full electric car unless they improve significantly. My next one will likely be a hybrid though. And we really should be standardizing the hybrids, because those have positive impact by burning significantly less fossil fuels. Some EV owners don't realize where the electricity comes from...
