He is a great producer, but his sound lately is just tired and samey. The rollout for Midnights was really weird. It was not advertised as Reputation pt 2 and that's what we got. Rep really does sound like a good chunk of it was originally intended for Lorde Folklore and Evermore brought in fans who never thought they'd like Taylor Swift and following those albums was tough.
