Like over-nove from, I believe, VGMC15, gram-encounter features some insanely cool guitar parts. The addition of guitar-like synths and other rich synth chords is also a very cool element of the song, that gives it a bit of an edgy, futuristic tone. From start to finish, it's one hell of a song that really gets me pumped up. I'm very happy that this made it in after falling short the previous year. Astebreed ~ The Void is also a very cool song. With its violin and trance-like beat and synths, it feels very reminiscent of some of the Baldr songs I know (and it also looks like the game has some mecha elements to it as well based on the thumbnail). Though, the dramatic choir and orchestra in the latter half is also a very cool touch. Strong match, but this song's unfortunately no match for gram-encounter. As an aside, I can't get over how much the guy in this thumbnail reminds me of Keiichi Maebara from Higurashi. MATCH 2 [TBC] ... Copied to Clipboard! |
