Especially when contrasted with how the media treats cases of police brutality. And unfortunately even simply pointing that out appears ungrateful in the eyes of some. but its also not in the common United States. You believe its common because thats what the age of constant social media curated to your experience and beliefs do. Theres close to 150 million unique police contacts across the United States in a year. Even police shooting people is not common. You can average about 1000~ a year. 950~ were armed with a firearm or deadly weapon in the process of committing a violent felony crimes. Now, every single shooting deserves to be dissected and asked if everything was done that we could do before It reached that point The point Im trying to make is that its really not common at all. Police spend most of their time doing calls for service generated by citizens(NY times source from 2020). --- Darkprince45 ... Copied to Clipboard! |
