To me, I eventually expected people were gonna get really high up on Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu after a mild reception in the beginning, as the premise itself is mostly a smokescreen to the actual story. It's about middle schoolers in their puberty phase, so the whole thing was just the characters not really understanding their natural attractions and confusing them for other similar directional needs.

Anyways, I watched it like slowly creep up on the scores and reception throughout the season and finally they dethroned stuff like Raelinna and that other dude that nobody fucking explained why that pairing is so good. Seriously though, did anybody actually watch this? Who's voting for them and why? Should I watch it? Cuz the actual anime has like sometimes fallen off the top 20 list for just this season alone, and somehow they've managed to stay up in the best girl/pairing chart for the whole season

Alright I did my research, and it's actually a Korean manhwa that was adapted to a webtoon and now an anime. It's geared towards females, basically a shoujo genre, mostly romance with some politics mixed in there. Uhh... yeah I'm not sure. I'm gonna have to guess it's a weird case of a niche audience outweighing a heavily divided majority
