In both scenarios it's all about retaining power at the expense of the people. I mean, even on this censure vote like 5 Republicans abstained from voting which lowered the threshold needed for the resolution to pass as opposed to if they had voted.

They tried to make him pay half of the Mueller investigation...even though it was an investigation that happened under Trump and Mueller was appointed by his DOJ.
