The main downside is that it looks like it's an origin story, so he'll spend most of the movie being lame, and he'll only wind up being cool for the last 10 minutes or so. idk, seems like he gets his powers pretty early on and does a lot of badassery. ParanoidObsessive posted... Also not 100% sold on the idea of turning all of Spider-Man's villains into antiheroes so they can have their own movies. It kind of works for some, but not really for others. Well, they kinda can't do it for everybody, if certain characters are being used as villains in other films, including these kinds of films. However, Venom and Morbius have long had anti-hero storylines. And there are plenty of Spider-Man rogues who've either become heroes or anitheroes. I half-imagine we'll see a Black Cat movie before long... but probably not a Phil Ulrich movie. Metalsonic66 posted... Fuck these movies Zareth posted...
