As someone who prefers Amphibia, may I ask why you dont like the final season?
Just too much time wasting. I loved that stuff early but it felt like we should be past this. Completely squandering Sasha and Marcy with barely any screen time. Sasha got good content in the little she had, but even considering her situation the complete lack of presence for Marcy here was just baffling.
Very little of the stuff on Earth worked for me. Seeing it for a bit was fun but they spent half the season here doing season 1 style antics. Getting stuff like Super Sprig and the hop pop acting episode were just incredibly frustrating at the time. Anne never talked about Sasha or Marcy for whatever reason, they through in that scene with her writing letters to their parents that went absolutely nowhere.
It felt like they were setting up for a new tone and focused direction with True Colors and then got slammed down by the executives or something. Once they got back to Amphibia it was solid again, but it should have been 4 or 5 episodes on Earth at most, which based on the montage is about how many episode TOH would have spent there in their last season if they hadn't had to cut things short.
