Seems like a good a time as any. Anyway, so there's this sub that I frequent, or rather maybe used to frequent since I don't know how much I'll be visiting there anymore with RIF and other apps being dead now, but it was a very small community about something specific (don't bother going through my post history for it I used a throwaway account to post there) and even though it was small it was pretty active and we all recognized each others usernames. It was kind of like a second CE in a way. Complete with shitty gimmick accounts. So one of the people there, who I will change his name for privacy... lets just call him "Jack" was definitely one of the more frustrating ones. If there was such a thing as a millenial boomer, he would be it. Dude still thinks reddit french and rage comics are still funny posting obnoxious shit like "FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~~~" and so on and adds "le" to the beginning of like every other word rhyme or reason be damned. So we called him Le Jack in an attempt to out-obnoxious him but it didn't work. And yes I know reddit has a block function but it doesn't work because the guy is a fucking magnet for dumbasses and people keep responding to him so you end up having to expand his blocked messages anyway to read the whole comment chains. It's not like GameFAQs where they just take out one or two messages depending if you set it to block quotes. And people can't fucking learn to not respond to him. And he doesn't even engage with the subject material. Most everything he posts is off topic.

And mods don't care. Or should I say complete lack of mods. The sub has like 3 mods. One of them, as far as I can tell, hasn't even logged in since April 2017. Another one logged in but hasn't posted anything in forever so I don't even think he's looking at the modmail. And the one active mod there is actually thinks this asshole is funny and won't do anything about him. Then there's the sub owner who pops in like once a month to give some updates or check out our updates and I don't think he's ever even looked at the modmail either.
