Harvard and other ivy leagues tend to use adversity based admission for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Affirmative action played a role in establishing this change to admissions but aside from the early days of affirmative action, skin color alone is not a deciding factor in whether or not they admit you. The SC ruling on Friday did not change this process.
