A lot of people here have been helping me with my new skink. Here is an update. I was away for a few days and when I came back, I couldnt see him in the tank. He had buried himself in the substrate. I dug him out because I wanted to make sure he was ok. He had been there for a long time. I knew it would stress him out but I was worried about him. After that, I offered him my hand and he climbed up. He then crawled onto my shirt. I guided him back to the tank because I didnt want him to jump down and run out the door where I would lose him. But yeah, pretty soon he will be ready for this little leash I got him and we can go to the pet store like dog owners.
