I figured this was going to be about 14 being a theme park, but you're conflating design with quality. There's absolutely no problem with you not liking the type of game that 14 is, but arguing that it's bad because it's not the type of game you want isn't really a fair position. It would be like a Halo player trying out rainbow six and then complaining that being killed in one shot makes the game not fun.

I'm glad you enjoyed 11, but 14 just being a slightly prettier 11 never made sense. 11 still had, and still does have, a large community and the game is still getting new content updates as recently as like 6 months ago.

I have no idea where you're getting the whole thing about the story being overhyped, especially if you're coming from 11 where the story is borderline non-existent. A generic cloud of darkness evil force is doing generic evil things and the beast tribes get up to their usual shenanigans with summons.
