I mean yeah people got bullied but it was nothing like depicted in movies from before my time like wedgies, swirlies, getting shoved in lockers, stolen lunch money, or even regular beatings. If someone got hit there were usually pretty severe punishments so it was mostly just name calling.Yeah I graduated in 2001 and while physical bullying was a thing sometimes, it was nothing like depictions in the media and got handled with swift suspensions.
