Disney ended up making a third season centered around a different main character, but they dropped the overarching storyline that made the show so great in exchange for more episodic content. They also made it more colorful and less dark than the first two seasons, something the show creators and Disney were constantly at odds about during the airing of the show. While likely lost to history to most people, So Weird was a great sci-fi Disney show that unfortunately never got the final season it deserved.
