If you're into more "cheesy" horror movies, try the Tomie live action movies. They're not necessarily good but still fun to watch if you're into Junji Ito's books.

Oh! And the "World of Kanako" both starring two of my favourite actresses, Komatsu Nana and Hashimoto Ai. This one is from the same director (Tetsuya Nakashima) who made Confessions and it comes.

Confessions is also another amazing movie by him, which is more thriller.

Edit: Keep in mind that Confessions and more importantly, World of Kanako, are really fucked up movies. So if you get offended easily I wouldn't recommend watching those. God, Nana Komatsu did such a good job as Kanako.
