As a shifter do you just use your claws instead of a weapon?You have two forms, your kinda "combat" one that grows claws and whatnot, then the one that does a full on other form (your Shifter companion does a Griffin). You get a lot of boosts for attacking with natural weapons so I imagine most builds use them.
