Did you not take Diff EQ? It continues on from where calc 2 ended and I would say it was much harder.
I did but the professor was so good I did not struggle with those at all. Our class was a mix of dif EQ and linear algebra but I loved linear algebra far more. Almost made me switch from engineering to math just so I could grasp more of what we were barely shown.

In terms of difficulty from hardest to easiest:

Calc 5 (Laplace Transformation and other bullshit)
Calc 4 (Differential Equations)
Calc 2

[Power Gap]

Calc 3 (Multivariable)
Calc 1

It was a Godsend how much easier Calc 3 was compared to 2. It's literally just Calc 1 but in 3D and with multiple variables.
I agree with the last bit. Calc 2 left me traumatized so much that I dreaded calc 3 going in, but ended up breezing through it.
