I would legitimately be shocked if anyone other than Aeris or Vivi won. 2 years ago after day 20 (80 characters left) I posted my list of 10 that the winner would come from, 5 of them made the top 10 and 2 of them were in the finals; I don't know if that was luck or skill but I felt like I had my finger on the pulse of the contest. I was thinking of doing a similar "potential winners list" this year but I could only see 5 characters winning and frankly, didn't want to put that energy into the universe when there's only 1 that matters to me... But really, I'm also not feeling the zeitgeist like in XXIII, there is plenty of room for surprises and compelling runs this year, we have more than a few new users and many regulars no longer participating. Though plenty of time for people to return too, I suppose. But this year is certainly wide open. (just would really rather win this year to avoid the Cid juggernaut next year tbh) ...
