Topic	Should a light switch go up or down to turn it on?

I'm an electrician so there's another reason why it feels right. One could always install a switch upside down if they want it the other way. k1zzl3_82 posted... A few of our lights have multiple places to turn them on. Sounds like 3way/4way switches.
