Yes, but she will typically use only 1 switch. For example our kitchen has 2 entrances (well one is the dining side, other kitchen) she will typically use the kitchen side switch to turn the lights off. Our front door is in between the kitchen and dining room. This also has a switch on it which she likes to keep that switch in a certain position

Defeats purpose of multiple switches. I answered poll before reading first post. Single switch installation: up on. But for multiple switches, it is what it is.
