I don't think Fahrenheit makes that much more sense as a "comfortable temperature" scale. You're just familiar with it. So to you 60F might mean "nice day, middle of the scale" but to me it means nothing. Whereas I can read 24C and immediately know "oh, warm day" (don't laugh 25C is the highest temperature ever recorded in the town I live).

Anyway, why should Fahrenheit be where it is? 0F is really cold? So is -10F, so why not start the scale there? Why not have 0 as a comfortable temperature, and anything above or below that as hot and cold? Fahrenheit does not inherently make any more sense. PLUS 60F being a comfortable temperature is completely dependent on the local environment and what temperatures they're used to. 60F is 15.5C right? I know a lot of people that would consider that cool or even cold.

Define what a "Comfortable Temperature" is?

That's going to vary drastically from person to person, including region to region.

& Humidity is going to screw that up.
