The thief is responsible for stealing a truck. The thief wasn't acting in self defense lol. You can't commit a criminal act and then shoot at people while you're doing something illegal. The car's owner may or may not have been in the middle of protecting himself, but the thief absolutely had no grounds to start shooting at the owner cause he was in the middle of committing a crime when he started shooting. --- Who is?
