| FelineCyborg 07/31/23 10:41:21 PM #95: | online dating is hard even if youre ahead of the curve on attractiveness. people instantly peg you for a certain type and you have to check every box or you are passed up. youre either the guy who looks like the fuckboi who hurt her before or youre the nerd whos just not attractive. people dont go out as much anymore, theres less communal spaces to do anything. people in general (not just women but women included) are more standoff ish than ever before in public. theres a weird double standard unspoken larry david esque type rule when its ok to hit on women, and even then it might not be ok, you dont want to be the guy that gets shame blasted on social media just trying to have a basic social interaction. it kind of makes easy pickings for disillusioned young men. women seem extremely disillusioned as well but i cant speak for them --- "well, yeah, and a lot of minorities go to see minstrel shows, too." - PyroSpoon ...
